The Talent Journey enjoys the opportunity to increase knowledge among professionals that recognize that there is room for organizations to grow their success. Additionally, we at The Talent Journey seek events where we can "give back" to our own community. We have listed a few of our events and hope you will consider attending one as we move forward in our journey.

   • UPCOMING COMMUNITY EVENT: "Calling and Career" Presented at InterVarsity, May 8, 2010

This is a one-day event with experts and facilitators to help recent or almost San Diego graduates know what to do with their lives. With a framework of Looking Inward, Looking Outward, and Looking Upward, the InterVarsity event will increase self-awareness and understanding for how to interact with God about such a major decision. Diane will be addressing ways to identify and align natural talents with career call. Recent and almost graduates can register here.    • Generating High Performance: Beyond Technical Abilities, March 2010

Diane Brown, Talent Journey's founder, presented on Generating High Performance. In order to drive innovation, technical breakthrough, process improvement and efficiency, experts within an organization must also work collaboratively and cohesively across technical domains and organizational levels. Most people and teams face greater constraints in "soft skill" competencies than in their technical abilities.    • "Living Well in the Workplace" Presented at Intervarsity, January 13, 2010

Diane was a featured speaker at this conference, designed to challenge thinking on the conventional divide between faith and work. The event focused on unleashing creativity to be a spiritual leader in business and through business.



   • Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, September 2009

Diane Brown, Talent Journey's founder, at Carlsbad Chambers 7 year Anniversary Open House. We, along with a few other select small businesses, had the opportunity to promote our services to the community. It was a lot of fun! Congratulations on 7 great years Chamber of Carlsbad.

Diane Brown was a featured speaker at a Netweaving event. Participants were eager to learn more about themselves and those they interact with in the workplace. They especially enjoyed Diane's expertise and the interactive learning environment.


   • Costco Fundraiser, May 15, 2009

Participating in a local fundraising event held at Costco for Children's Miracle Network, Diane enlightens inquiring customers of Talent Journey's goals within organizations.


   • Shred. Red and Fed Event, June 2, 2009

An opportunity to serve the community was enough to get Diane Brown on board with other local organizations in support of a blood drive and collecting donation for the women's resource center. Participants donated 41 pints of blood and 4 truckloads of articles for women and their children. Additionally, this local group worked provided "end of tax year" shredding services to local residents.
